Where Are items available on this site “perfect”?

All of the items available on this site are made with natural materials. Minerals and fossils often have inclusions that occurred as part of the geologic process. We invite you to enjoy and marvel at all of the details that make each piece a one-of-a-kind natural work of art.

Where do you get all the cool stuff from?

Over the past 35 years Nature Gallery owner, Carol Garsten regularly attended major world-class gem and mineral shows and through various sources both in the U.S. and around the world.

Do you make all the jewelry?

Carol Garsten, Nature Gallery owner, designs a line of jewelry “87Rocks” which is sold exclusively at Nature Gallery. Garsten is known for her exquisite asymmetric earrings and her combinations of unique items such as dinosaur egg-shell and Moldavite tektite. Through the years other world-renowned artists were represented including Judith Ubick, Joanne Dowdy, Nancy Hoover & Chalisa, and Hector Goodluck.

Are all Products Available on the Website Now?

New items will be added to the website regularly.

Were you once located in Los Altos…and before that at Town & Country Village  in Palo Alto?

Yes, we were located at T&C for 17 years in a small space on the corner next to the Korean BBQ.

On February 12, 2012 we moved to downtown Los Altos at the corner of 2nd & State Street.

As of December 24, 2022 Nature Gallery no longer has a retail store.

Our curated collection of mineral, fossil, and jewelry items can now only be purchased on this website.

What is your return Policy?

No Refunds

After 35 years Carol Garsten closed her brick & mortar business Nature Gallery on December 24, 2022.

Items for sale on this website are products remaining after the close of the Los Altos store.

All items will be available at discounted prices.

All sales are final.

What are your Shipping Fees for online purchases?

Free shipping is included for total purchases over $187 or more and shipped to locations in the USA in a USPS small, medium, or large flat-rate box.   Please contact us at info@nature-gallery.com for a quote on shipping prices for larger items
