  With the moto “Service above Self” PAUR is involved in both local and international rojects including support of Youth Community Service, Stevenson House, Peninsula HealthCare Connection, Belle Haven School, Downtown Streets Team and educational and Micro Finance projects in El Salvidor. Nature Gallery owner, Carol Garsten, currently serves and Chair of Public Relations on the PAUR Board of Directors. Palo Alto University Rotary Meets every Friday morning at the Sheraton Hotel in Palo Alto at 7:15am. Rotarians and guests are welcome to attend.

Located at Palo Alto’s Opportunity Center, Peninsula HealthCare Connection provides primary care and mental health care to community members who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Nature Gallery owner, Carol Garsten has served on the Board of Directors of PHC for four years and as chair of the Board of Directors for since Dec. 2009. We believe that a quality art education is critical for every student's preparation for success in the 21st century, and we actively assist schools in implementing a comprehensive, standards-based visual art program.
