Ammolite is the gem nacre of the Ammonite fossils from Alberta Canada.  A hard protective resin has been applied to this top stone to protect its fragile nature.  The bottom is 350 million-year-old fossil marble with Ammonite fossils from Morocco.  This pendant is set in sterling silver designed by Vajda.  It is shown on a 3mm, 18″ silver collar #30516 $100 which is sold separately.  The pendant measures approx 1 11/16″ long.
